    Text - The Nazgôl cannot see the world of the living in broad daylight, they depend on their mounts (horses and fell beasts) to do so for them. Nonetheless, they can smell the blood of the living creatures and perceive the presence of their prey, as it casts a shad ow upon their minds. In the darkness they can sense signs and forms that the living ones can't, that's the reason why they are more fearsome and dangerous at night.

    Human - Gollum was captured by Aragorn about a year before the Council of Elrond. He brought Gollum to Thranduil, who imprisoned him in his dungeons. Legolas's task in the Council was to tell the news of Gollum's escape, which took place after a group of orcs attacked the guards that were watching over him one day in Mirkwood (they let him climb trees under supervision from time to time).

    Text - Saruman's initial plan was to join Sauron and convince Gandalf to do the same, and when the time was right, turn against Sauron and take control. When Gandalf refused, he then changed his plans and decided to deceive Sauron into thinking he was his ally while he looked for the One Ring in order to gain power to supplant him. But Sauron ended up manipulating him and turning him into a puppet for his own purposes.

    Text - When Gandalf reunites with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli in Fangorn after turning into "the White", he states that he cannot be hurt by any of their weapons. This gives us just a glimpse of how powerful he has actually become.

    Organism - Sauron benefited from Shelob living at the entrance of Mordor, for she would eat the intruders, preventing them from entering the country from that side. He called her "his cat" (although she never acknowledged him as her master), and from time to time he would sent prisoners to the tunnel just for them to be eaten by her. He also didn't care if she ate some of his orcs now and then, as he had plenty of them to spare.

    Formation - Legolas was astonished with the beauty of the forest of Fangorn and Gimli felt the same way about the Glittering Caves located in Helm's Deep. They promised each other that when the war was over each one would accompany the other to see the place they fell in love with.

When the war is over and Aragorn marries Arwen, they finally got to solve their conflict.     People - The dwarves are a very tough race. Sauron never could submit them through the rings like he did with men. The only effect the rings had upon them was to increase their greed and make them lust gold and precious jewels to an even greater extent, which ultimately brought ruin upon them.

    Text - When Gandalf dies after his fight with the Balrog, his spirit goes out of space and time and returns to llúvatar (basically the God of Tolkien's universe). Ilúvatar enhances his power and wisdom and sends him back to Middle Earth to complete his task. The only reason this happened is because Gandalf was the only wizard that was actually fulfilling his mission and sacrificed himself for his companions.

    Ring - Aragorn wears a ring that has belonged to his ancestors since the First Age. It's called the Ring of Barahir, and once belonged to Finrod (by then it was known as the Ring of Felagund), a king of the High Elves. Finrod gave it to Barahir, a man, as a token of his eternal friendship after Barahir saved his life. Since then, the ring passed through the generations of his bloodline until it eventually reached Elrond. Elrond kept it and later gave it to Aragorn along with the shards of Narsil

    Text - After being expelled from Orthanc, Saruman headed to the Shire in company of Grima and took over control (with help from the men that served him in Isengard). When Frodo and his friends returned, they encouraged the hobbits to fight back and regain their land. At the end, Saruman leaves but tries to kill Frodo unsuccessfully. Frodo forgives him, but Gríma, after being humiliated by Saruman one last time, cuts his throat with a knife. Gríma is then killed by arrows the hobbits shoot at him

    Text - The actual reason Théoden's horse fell upon him was that it was shot with an arrow. After crushing him, it rolled away from him. Merry approached the king and shared some words with him, Éomerthen arrived just in time for Théoden to proclaim him King of Rohan prior to his death. Finally, Théoden asked Éomer to bid Éowyn farewell and died. He never got to know that Éowyn was by his side all the time.

    Text - The Rangers of the North, along with Elladan and Elrohir (Elrond's sons) came to aid Aragorn and encourage him to take the Paths of the Dead (where he summoned the Oathbreakers). This group consisted in thirty Dúnedain, Aragorn's kindred, and was called the Grey Company. They were sent by Elrond in response to a message from Galadriel.

    Movie - Faramir was never tempted to take the ring and he said that he wouldn't do so even "if it lay by the highway". In the novel, he jokes and scares Frodo and Sam by making them think that he was about to go full Boromir on them. Aragorn did the same thing when they first met him in Bree.

    Face - Faramir falls in love with Éowyn while both are in the Houses of Healing. They become closer as the days pass by and finally Éowyn overcomes her love for Aragorn and embraces Faramir. When she does so, they kiss upon the walls of the city, in the sight of many people. Their engagement is finally announced by Éomer in a feast held in honour of Théoden.

    Movie - Aragorn served Thengel, father of Théoden, and Ecthelion, father of Denethor, for about 23 years under an alias. He was known as Thorongil and often warned Echtelion about Saruman, suggesting him to put his trust in Gandalf instead. His last deed under that name was heading with a small float to a city called Umbar and burning a great part of its ships in order to prevent a future strike against Gondor.
